I don’t like giving quick reviews without really putting a product to the test, and I’ve had two pairs of the lined Tourney 6” shorts for almost a year now. As an avid pickleball player, I’ve tried several other brands, but these have become my go-to shorts.

The quality is excellent—the fabric feels soft yet sturdy. I haven’t been gentle with them when it comes to playing or washing, and they still look great.

Fit-wise, I’m short-waisted and wear my shorts closer to my belly button. The XL, which fits most people at the natural waist, was a little snug, so I went with the XXL. For reference, I’m 5’7” and 198 lbs, and the XXL fits perfectly.

If I had to nitpick, I’d love to see a 7” option added. They’re also on the pricier side compared to other brands, but considering the quality, they’re worth it. Maybe I just missed a sale or two along the way!

Overall, these are easily 5-star shorts, and I’m already ordering more with pickleball season in full swing. You won’t be disappointed!

I don’t know what it feels like to be Ben John’s but wearing these shorts is definitely the closest I have felt. As soon as I stepped onto the court, my confidence soared like an eagle. 🦅 I was hitting shots like never before. Ill advised Ernie’s at the net, my back hand was Agassi like. My backhand flicks where god like. Every time I smashed a ball passed someone, I said not to worry to chase it. I have a ball holder built into my shorts. No more looking like an idiot with balls in my pockets. I shouldn’t be buying anymore pickleball gear, but oh well. All the colors please. ⚡️🫶🏽

Amazing shorts for style, comfort and performance. Outstanding build quality and the inner liner is so comfy and soft and includes a cell phone pocket. The 6” length is great and Just the right amount of stretch in the outer fabric when moving side to side or lunging for balls. The rear dual ball pocket caddy is revolutionary for keeping those pickleballs close and out of the way until needed. These shorts are so good I own 4 pairs and will continue to buy new colors

I picked these shorts up based on social media (maybe influencer) posts and I'm glad I did. They live up to the hype. Super soft inner short, great features and performance. I have a company I run during the week and when I get a chance to play, I play hard. These shorts will serve me well for the midweek competitive open play and the weekend marathons on Saturday and Sunday. Considering picking up a few more pair just to have more colors and do less laundry!
